Bed and camping prices (per night) for Tanners folk nights

The 2020 dates are

• 7-9 February 2020 (2 nights)
• 3-5 April 2020 (2 nights)
• 11-13 September 2020 (2 nights)
• 11-13 December 2020 (2 nights)

Prices are now the same all year

• Staying in hostel - £16/£19 for YHA members/non-members respectively
• Camping - £9/£12 for YHA members/non-members respectively
• Safari tents - stay at hostel rate (unless booking the whole tent at £100/night)
• Visitors - £5/night for visitors to the folk who are not staying (this will be passed on as a donation to the hostel)

Please book beds ASAP directly with the hostel (not via the central booking system) or just turn up for the music (£5 contribution). This current arrangement, with bookings via the hostel only for these nights, ensures that potential bookers can be told that there is a folk event on and we can continue to operate at non-standard hostel hours over the weekend.

As you know, we are able to keep the folk weekends on the basis that

1. they bring in a reasonable amount of money
2. the warden Andy also advertises them and allows other people to book beds at them.

So, if you want to come, please book as far as ahead as you can to make sure you have a bed if you want one. There have been people who haven't been able to get in as they hadn't booked ahead - for beds and camping.

Current YHA policy is that you can get a 90% refund if you cancel before midday (12 noon) on the day before that of your booking. So, please book even if you aren't sure you can come and get a refund nearer the time if necessary. More details are given in section 7 of http://www.yha.org.uk/terms-and-conditions
